Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know your videographers are credible & reliable?

You can easily view videographers' examples and profiles to determine their credibility. We are always monitoring our videographers to make sure they meet your standards, and take relevant action if we believe they do not.

What happens if I start signing up and then stop?

If you start signing up and then stop you can re-enter the sign up process at any time. Simply start the process again by filling out the information in the first part of the process and hit 'Next'. From here, the Video My Business website will look up your details and take you to wherever you last were in the sign up process.

How long does my Video My Business subscription last?

Your Video My Business subscription lasts indefinitely until you choose otherwise. Our rolling subscription will automatically renew every month; however, you are able to cancel your subscription at any time.

Typically how long does it take to produce a video?

As a general rule, you might expect 30 seconds of video to take around 6 hours to shoot and edit. This, however, is a very rough approximation of video production timing and can vary hugely. Speak to your videographer to best determine what they think, taking your corporate video brief and requirements into account.

Does it cost anything to use Video My Business?

No, for businesses using Video My Business to search for videographers it's absolutely free.

Why aren’t my logo or profile images uploading?

Please make sure your logo is a minimum of at least 164px wide and 123px high and your profile image at least 640px wide and 480px high. Both images are preferably in a 4:3 aspect ratio. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact us via the contact page and we will be happy to help you out.

After my free period how much does Video My Business cost?

Video My Business costs a flat rate of £20 a month. For this, we give you all the benefits of our site for one simple fee.

What do I do if I am unhappy with a videographer or Video My Business?

Here at Video My Business, we take complaints and disagreements very seriously. If you are unhappy with a videographer or our service then please give us a call on (01452) 222360. We will do everything we can to assist you.

How do I know that Video My Business' search results are fair?

Our search algorithms are set to display search results at random every time a new search is made with the same criteria. This gives all of our videographers a fair chance of being displayed in front of businesses.

Why am I not yet receiving enquiries?

Video My Business is launching to businesses in September. So, if you're not getting inundated with inquiries don't panic just yet - Video My Business is still getting everything ready before the big hurrah.

How do I know if people have been viewing my profile?

If you log into your Video My Business 'Account' via the 'Login' button in the top right hand corner, you will find a section called 'Your Stats'. You can look here to see data on all aspects of your profile from the last 30 days.

Why do you use the term 'videographer' instead of 'video producer'?

Whilst here at Video My Business we prefer the term 'video producer', due to search engine optimisation, the amount of people searching for 'videographer' is far greater than those searching for 'video producer'. We use 'videographer' to get you the best possible visibility.

How do I become a 'Featured Videographer'?

Our 'Featured Videographer' status is something we update every month. Every month, we select 5 entirely new videographers who we believe represent Video My Business' values and quality in their video production. As one of these 5 selected video producers, you are then displayed at the bottom of the homepage - this boosts your visibility and hits to your videographer profile. To be featured, you MUST have a profile image uploaded to your profile page, so please bear this in mind.
